These highly expressive sounds are also fantastic for keyboardists when used with a breath controller such as the Yamaha BC1, BC2, or BC3a, TEControl Breath Controllers, MRT Audio Breath Controller, Kelfar BCK-1 Breath Controller, etc...
Please note these sounds load inside the Korg T1, T2, or T3 keyboard- NOT inside a wind controller.

to a horn player so you'll find lots of highly expressive ensemble
and solo timbres, acoustic emulations, breathy wind instruments,
and killer synth leads.
These sounds require a wind controller or breath controller capable of sending AFTERTOUCH data for proper use. WX5 / WX11 / WindJamm'r users and Yamaha breath controller users should contact Matt at Patchman Music as we offer a custom-programmed convertor box that will convert breath controller data into aftertouch data. Casio DH-100 / DH-200 OWNERS! Since these sounds are set up to respond fully to aftertouch data, they work GREAT when controlled with the Casio DH Series horns such as the DH-100 and DH-200.

Breath controller users and WX5, WX11, and WindJamm'r users will need to use a device such as the MIDI Solutions Event Processor or Anatek's Pocket Mapper or Wind Machine to remap breath controller data to aftertouch. Unlike our other wind controller banks, this soundbank is set up to respond to aftertouch data (not breath controller data) because the T1/T2/T3 is not capable of directly responding to breath controller data. "Am using the WX11 and VL70-m successfully in live performance (with a seven piece variety dance band), augmenting the single voice of the VL with [Patchman Music's] Korg T-Series patches for wind controller (using the mapper). Makes for a pretty decent horn section. You should hear Tower of Power's 'What is Hip?' where all the horn parts AND the organ solos are done on wind controller! Spooky!"
