PATCHMAN MUSIC offers three soundbanks for the Yamaha TX81Z. These all new, professional quality soundbanks were designed to bring out the very best in the TX81Z. Volumes 1 and 2 feature creative use of the mod wheel. For example, it might be used to control the balance of a layered sound or introduce a simulated reverb effect, vibrato, chorusing, or tremolo. Volume 3 has been specially designed to be controlled with a MIDI wind controller such as the Yamaha WX5, WX7, WX11, WindJamm'r, MIDI EVI, MIDI EWI, Akai EWI, EWI5000, EWI4000s, EVI, MDT, or Softwind Synthophone or with a breath controller such as the Yamaha BC1, BC2, or BC3. Traum to be controlled with a wind controller such as the Yamaha WX5, WX7,
WX11, WindJamm'r, Nyle Steiner MIDI EVI/EWI, Akai EWI USB, EWI4000s, EWI5000, EWI SOLO, EVI, MDT,
NuEVI, NuRAD, Roland Aerophone, Aodyo Sylphyo, or Softwind Synthophone. These highly expressive
sounds are also great for keyboardists when used with a Yamaha
BC1, BC2, or BC3
plugged into a keyboard equipped with a breath controller input
or 
plugged into a device such as the MIDI
Solutions Breath Controller Box or Anatek Wind Machine. This
Volume includes highly responsive ensemble and solo timbres,
acoustic emulations, breathy wind instruments, and killer synth
leads. EVI trumpet, high flute, soundtrack, dragnet, jazz chord
lead, acoustic guitar, mondo bass, Brecker-y, Lyle leads, clarinet,
baroque ensemble, piccolo trumpet, bow cello, Chick, English
horn, mallet flute, and much more. Note that these sounds require
a wind controller or breath controller for proper use. These sounds do NOT load inside a wind controller. They load into a Yamaha TX81Z synthesizer.
Casio DH-100 / DH-200 OWNERS! The TX81Z has a built in feature which allows you to use this highly expressive soundbank with the Casio DH Series Digital Horns. All you need to do is load this bank in, and set the TX81Z to map aftertouch to breath controller. Click here for info on how to do that.
