EWI, EVI, EWI1000 / EVI1000, EWI5000, EWI4000s, EWI SOLO, Roland Aerophone, MDT, the Berglund NuEVI /NuRAD, Aodyo Sylphyo, Lekholm DM48, Softwind Synthophone, WARBL, Nyle Steiner MIDI EVI / EWI, and others. These highly expressive sounds are
also great for keyboardists when used with a breath controller such as the Yamaha BC1, BC2,
or BC3 plugged into a keyboard equipped with a breath controller input
or plugged into a device such as the MIDI
Solutions Breath Controller Box, Anatek Wind Machine, or with the TEControl series of breath controllers, MRT Audio Breath Controller, Kelfar Breath Controller, etc... Keyboardists can also enjoy the incredible expression of these special highly expressive sounds by assigning a knob, wheel, slider, or foot pedal to send MIDI AFTERTOUCH data. 
PLEASE NOTE: These sounds load inside a Korg M3R module- They do NOT load inside a wind controller.
These sounds require a wind controller or breath controller capable of sending AFTERTOUCH data for proper use. WX5 / WX11 / WindJamm'r users and Yamaha breath controller users should email Matt at Patchman Music as we offer a custom-programmed convertor box that will convert breath controller data into aftertouch data.
Casio DH-100 / DH-200 OWNERS! Since these sounds are set up to respond fully to aftertouch data, they work GREAT when controlled with the Casio DH Series horns such as the DH-100 and DH-200.
M3R Volume 1 is an outstanding value containing 200 new Pro Patches! This soundbank was designed to be useful to a horn player. You'll find lots of highly expressive ensemble and solo timbres, acoustic emulations, breathy wind instruments, chorded layers, and killer synth leads. Highlights include Tenor Sax, Pan Flute, Lyle Pan, EVITpt4th, Distorted Guitar, Juno Brass, Moog Layer, LA Lead, Basses, Violin, Strings, Flute, Clarinet, Gumboots, So What!, and much more! If you use a wind controller or breath controller with your M3R, this soundbank is for you!
Formats: This soundbank is available in Sysex (.SYX) and Standard MIDIfile (.MID) formats for PC/Mac. You will get both formats with your order. Please note: This soundbank is NOT available on a RAM CARD. Click here for a general explanation of the various formats.
| Attention: Please note that these sounds require that you send Aftertouch from a wind controller or breath controller. Breath controller users and WX5, WX11, and WindJamm'r users will need to use a device such as the MIDI Solutions Event Processor or Anatek's Pocket Mapper or Wind Machine to remap breath controller data to aftertouch. Unlike our other wind controller banks, this soundbank is set up to respond to aftertouch data (not breath controller data) because the M3R is not capable of directly responding to breath controller data. |
